You are correct of course. I first read it word for word, then read it again and clicked on the word to look it up. I can be so dumb sometimes.

You ain't dumb Bro.  You just got a case of that 'defensive posture' that is sooooooo prevalent in the South.

I get full up with explaining what I'm gonna say before I say it , to where it is sickening.

It goes beyond joking around, it's a stigma brought on by the re constructionist and bought into by the People, then passed down, IMO.
