question about a second hard drive
« on: December 13, 2009, 02:02:26 PM »

Admin, you know that I did some transplanting of drives, turned an empty external into an internal boot drive, and turned the old internal hard drive into an external.

Well, I can't seem to find my old voice stress analysis prog. So, I'm trying to get back in to the old desktop, where I had an icon for it, and if I find the desktop, I can find where the prog for the old voice stress is hiding.

Searching, by the way, doesn't seem to find the exe for the prog, searching vsa. I once sent it to you, do you remember the specific name of the program? When it was running, it produced a window that was pretty small... like a quarter of the desktop, or smaller.

Any help I greatly appreciate. I will continue my efforts to find it, and you can email me off the board if you like. This is a fairly esoteric topic.
Preciate it.

The one I have is called 'vsaWin' - If you can't find it, I can send it to you in an email.

I appreciate it, Admin, but vsawin is the one I found. I prefer my 'other one', which I can't remember the name of. Don't sweat the email-- I'll go online and find it. I remember what the icon looks like-- Max Headroom.   ;)

Poking around in the J drive (the external) somehow convinced windows that it was the 'main' drive, and when it locked up, was trying to shut down with J. It didn't work.  ;)

But it's all squared away now. I'll go to google. Thankee, suh.
